Hey!
I had a couple of vouchers for Christmas for Boots & Superdrug that I still hadn't spent so over the weekend I went out & got my money's worth!
I had a couple of vouchers for Christmas for Boots & Superdrug that I still hadn't spent so over the weekend I went out & got my money's worth!
I really wanted to pick up a grey nail varnish, no idea why, I just had this vision of it looking really nice with a matte top coat! So I picked one up from Barry M, they currently have a 3 for 2 offer on in Boots so I also picked up one of their Hi-shine Gelly nail varnish in the colour 'Blue Grape.' I've been wanting to try this colour for ages, its such a bright, vibrant blue & I love it! Finally to complete the 3 for 2 offer I picked up a lipstick in the number '113' (Pictures & swatched below) I love how this colour looks, its a really bright baby pink, which is easily buildable and easy to apply. I think Barry M lipsticks are great for the price & I love the matte black packaging!
I also picked up a lip gloss by Models Own, I know they currently have a 50% off sale online, which I did have a few items in my basket! But I decided against it as I'm trying to save money at the moment so thought I'd look in store instead and pick up a variety of different products. I decided against the nail varnish and went for a lip gloss instead. I've never seen anyone talk about anything other than their nail varnish so I'm looking forward to testing this out & I'll definitely let you know what I think! It's in the colour 'Ballet Pink' and is a gorgeous baby pink (I love my baby pinks!) The swatch doesn't really do it justice but so far so good! & I also really like the packaging on this one!

- I then picked up the new 'baby skin' by Maybelline which I really hope does the job, I was going to splurge on the benefit one over Christmas so I'm glad to see one at a more affordable price! 'Hand food' by Soap & Glory is another product I've never tried so I picked up the mini to try it out which was only £2.50.
Then onto Superdrug, I only picked up three things, my favourite mascara; Rimmel's Scandaleyes - I love this, it adds volume and definition and it doesn't leave your lashes looking clumpy. I then picked up an MUA eyebrow pencil to try out & also a strawberries and cream bubble bath, which to be honest I only brought for the smell & it was on offer! So win, win there as I really didn't need another bath product!
Have you picked up any beauty bits lately that you would recommend?
Hope you enjoyed this post!

I would love to know how the Baby Skin Pore Eraser works for you. I purchased it about a month ago, and haven't had very good luck with it. It makes my skin very oily!
ReplyDeleteGreat blog btw! Thank you for sending me your link during #bbloggers chat today!
