Big Elf Haul!

Heyyy!
So I had been looking on the Elf website for a while now, deciding whether to make an order or not & then I saw on there Facebook page that they were giving away a free Autumn Bundle pack when you spend £20 on products. I was sold from that moment & the ordering began!
Here's what I got & also what I got free in the Autumn Bundle... Everyone loves a freebie!
 Goodiesssss!

(Things I haven't mentioned below: Elf nail varnish in the colour 'Glitter Glam' Just a lovely glitter top coat for £1.. Tone correcting Concealer in the shade 'ivory' I've used this before & loved it so went back for more! Elf's eyeshadow primer in 'Sheer' I've heard so much about this product that I decided to give into the hype & try it out my self! Also, the Hypershine Gloss in the colour 'Fairy' A lovely baby pink colour which I cant wait to try out!)
So here is what I ordered, I managed to get 9 things for £20 which I think is pretty good, some I have been wanting to try out for ages & others looked nice or intriguing so they got chucked into the basket aswell! Also, the concealer is a cheeky repurchase as last time I loved it!

First up I ordered the Contouring Blush & Bronzing powder. I had been wanting to try this for ages now & luckily Elf had just had a massive re stock of their items, so I went for this duo (probably the most ordered out of the 3) It looks stunning as soon as you look at it.. it does look super bright in the packaging which could seem quite intimidating but once swatched or blended onto your face, the colours appear a lot more subtle and wearable.

Next up is this 32 piece eyeshadow palette in 'Bright's' I did also originally have the natural one in my basket too, but decided to just stick with this one as I have a lot of the colours that were in that palette and wanted to try something new. This was only £5, for 32 eyeshadows I think that's really good & definitely worth it! I went with this palette to try & make myself go a bit out of my comfort zone and experiment with different colours/shades. Sorry there are no swatches for this one but I'm planning on doing either makeup looks using this (Halloween maybe!) or do a separate posts showing more of the colours and the payoff etc.

I've never tried one of their lipsticks before so decided to put one to the test! This is in the colour 'nostalgic' & was only £1.50 so I didn't really know what to expect. I haven't actually worn this yet, so I'll let you know what I think, but from the swatch it does look like has pretty decent colour payoff. The only thing I don't really like is the packaging, I know it's a £1.50 product but it just feels a bit 'tinny' and stiff when your turning the lipstick up. From the outside it looks nice though!

Next is an Elf jumbo lip gloss stick in the colour ' Flirty & Girly.' I'm yet to try out any other products like this, so this really caught my eye. I love the colour of this, a really nice everyday pink which is why I chose it however, I find it quite hard to apply, doesn't go on very smoothly & left my lips feeling kinda odd? is that just me haha. It didn't seem like it had much colour payoff & from the look of the swatch & also the online photo, I was expecting more. It's quite shimmery & almost reminded me of like a little girl lipgloss if that makes sense? I'll try it out again though... my opinion might change! This was £2.50.

So onto what I got free now.. this is the Autumn Bundle & I'm really pleased with what I got. It's all from there Studio/Mineral line & I love the packaging! Compared to Nars a lot I've heard aha!

First up is this lip balm, you can get coloured ones of these but this one is just in the shade 'Clear.' It has SPF 15 in it, which is always a good thing although, I don't think England will be seeing much more sun this year! It's very minty smelling which I don't particularly like, but if you like that type of scent then you'll love this!

Next is this Long lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow in the colour 'Party' (Which annoyingly they don't have printed on the packaging) It's in a cute little tub, really nice, sturdy packaging. I love this colour, it would be great for creating an evening smoky eye as the subtle shimmer would look lovely on a night out. It has a whipped gel texture & feels really squidgy to touch! haha (Just casually sat here poking my squidgy eyeshadow... er?)

Elf must of read my mind on this one. I'd ran out of eyeliner and was using eyeshadow on my bottom line to try & have some sort of substitute. I was actually planning on going out that day to buy a new one but was trying to put it off for as long as I could as I had ordered 2 from Avon. So I was really pleased to see this in my bundle! It's actually in the shade 'Ash' & is a really dark grey.. however on the eye it could be mistaken for black so this kept me going until my blacker ones arrived! I really liked it, it has really good colour payoff, long lasting, & has a twist & turn packaging so no need to sharpen! These kohl liner are also the ones I usually use as I find them softer on my eyes so was extra happy!

Next is this lipstick from their mineral range in the shade 'Beautiful Berry' This is definitely an Autumn shade! I'm really excited to try this out as I've never been brave enough to try a shade this dark so this is the perfect opportunity! I'm not sure how it will look as I'm really pale as you can see from my hand! haha.. hopefully I'll find a way to pull it off!

Lastly is this single eyeshadow in the shade 'ButterCream' (Love the name) The colour of the product looks quite yellow-e in the packaging however, once swatched & applied it's a really subtle cream/white-ish colour and would be perfect for highlighting or to use as a base for your other shadows!
Overall, I'm really pleased with my order & the free bundle! I love that they gave you wearable colours and didn't just chuck in old stock or colours that don't sell as well! I'm excited to try out some new products as well as use a couple of old.. I'm sure they'll be reviews of they new ones I'm trying out so look out for them!
Hope you enjoyed this post!
