Empties #4

I'm getting through a lot of products lately! I'm trying to use up a lot of my things before I buy new stuff which is always hard especially for a blogger as you want to try out loads of new things! But I have way too much make up/ bath products at the moment that I'm going on sort of a spending band until I use most of it up! Also, another reason.. not much more will fit in my drawers!
That's one primer too many for an empties post! But I found the baby skin one at the back of my drawer which I must of forgot about, saving it for one of these posts!
Out of the 3 primers, I'd say the Rimmel fix & Perfect one is my favourite at the moment and it is also the one I have repurchased. It feels a lot more creamy and soft when applying whereas the elf one has more of a silicon type of base, which if I remember, so does the baby skin one! I also feel like you get a lot more product in the Rimmel one, I found that the baby skin primer felt like it ran out too quickly, or maybe I was just putting too much on! The packaging of the Elf primer is actually really good as it uses up all of the product, literally there is nothing left in it!
The avon primer used to be one of my favourites as it really does help set your eyeshadow in place without creasing, I have a review about this here.
Everyone's favourite concealer, the collection one of course! The writing on the packaging always rubs off after a while which gives a clue as to what it is! I'm trying out a concealer by Revlon at the moment as they haven't had my shade for ages now, but this is definitely a product I always go back too.
Rimmel's wake me up foundation has got to be my favourite and is always the one I go back to, it matches my skin colour perfectly and lasts all day. I've tried a couple of other foundations in between this one, yet I've always found this one hard to beat.
Another product I love is the Maybelline Great lash mascara, it has a small wand which is great to help separate your lashes and really get into the corners, especially on the lower lashes. I usually use two mascaras, at the moment, it's the benefit they're real which is great for length and colour, then I'll go in with this to make sure I've got every lash and that the lashes are all separated and natural looking as I said.
I used up another product from Collection which was the Extreme 24 hour felt tip liner, I love this for doing my eyeliner on my top lip. It's really pigmented and has the perfect size nib which can make thin or thick lines, depending on what you like! It's usually on offer for around £2.50 so great for the money, I usually have to top this up once throughout the day purely for the colour, it doesn't rub of at all, but the pigmentation can sometimes fade.. so I normally do a little top up throughout the day!
Last up is the Pantene heat defence spray, this smells amazing which always helps sell a product for me, especially when your spraying it on your hair! I probably would re purchase this in the future, but for now I have a couple of others to use up!

What products have you been loving lately?

  3. The Collection liner is amazing! If you have a gel liner you can actually use the nib of the Collection one to apply it if it runs out :) x
