Top 5 current favourite Lipsticks!

Heyyyy!
I thought I'd tell you my 5 current favourite lipsticks, I've been really into lipsticks lately and my collection has grown quite a bit. But these are my top 5 out of my lipstick collection (At the moment anyway!)
(Left to Right; Delicate Pearl, Pink Chic, Soft Apricot, Shade 14 'Bare' and Notting Hill Nude.)
So first up is Maybelline colour sensational in 'Delicate Pearl.' I've been wanting to try one of these shades for a while now (A bit late on the bandwagon I know!) I wanted a shade that was suitable for an everyday look & this colour seemed to suit that the best. It's very subtle but still looks super nice on the lips. It's smooth to apply and leaves a lovely sheen on the lips, I wouldn't necessarily pay £7 for them but you can find them on Fragrance Direct for £1.99 so definitely worth a look on that website if your looking to try one out!The packaging is really nice & it also has a really nice smell to it. Bonus!

Next is a lipstick by a brand I hadn't heard of before; Constance Caroll, in the shade 'Soft Apricot.' I'm guessing this may be an American brand because I know we don't stock this over in the UK. I found this again on fragrance direct, it was only 50p so I thought I'd give it ago, didn't really expect much for that price but I've ended up loving it! The packaging is a bit flimsy and tinny feeling & it actually cracked a bit in the post but the product itself is lovely, a nice corally shade. It doesn't last the longest but you can easily enough chuck it in your make up bag and top up when you need to.

This is Rimmel's moisture Renew lipstick in 'Pink Chic' I loveee this lipstick and it's probably one of my most worn. The pink shade actually makes my lips appear slightly fuller and bigger which I like also, It's smooth to apply and has a really nice creamy consistency, It lasts hours on the lips and looks great with a lip gloss over the top or just as nice on its own. Purple's my favourite colour so I was instantly drawn in by the packaging, I believe Rimmel are changing the packaging of these (Or already have) But I've yet to see them, no doubt that they'll draw me in again though!
Next is a lipstick by MUA in shade 14 'Bare' This is the first lipstick by MUA I've ever tried and it's safe to say I'm going to be going back to try out a few more! It's a really nice neutral shade, very pigmented for the price (£1!) and is also quite long lasting. The packaging is nice, looks professional enough although the print is already starting to rub of on mine but that doesn't bother me too much. I love the way they have an extra bit of product at the bottom which at first I thought was just there to show the colour but It's a really nice little touch.
Last but not least is another Rimmel Moisture Renew lipstick, this is in the shade 'Notting Hill Nude' and is my most recent lipstick purchase. Like 'Pink Chic' it is smooth and easy to apply as well as long lasting. Again, this lipstick has great colour payoff and leaves your lips with lovely sheen, neither too glossy or matte. I find it to be really moisturising and hydrating on my lips, definitely doesn't leave them looking dry. This is a lovely nude shade, great for everyday wear and I'd definitely recommend these lipsticks!
As you can probably tell by now, I seem to prefer neutral/nude colours haha! That wasn't intentionally!
Hope you liked this post! What's you current favourite lipstick?

xx

  2. I bought two Constance Carroll lipsticks off fragrance direct (though I think I paid 75p each, I was cheated!) a soft pink and a dark red, but they're both gorgeous! They definitely don't agree with lip cote though, the go horrible and flakey!
